Navision’s roots can be traced back to 1983 when it was founded as “PC Plus”. Then in 1987, it was renamed “Navigator 1.00” and further to “Navision” in 1990. It was acquired by Microsoft in 2002. In 2018 “Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central” was formally announced. “Business Central” uses the strong 30+ years’ foundation of feature, functionalities, & robustness from Navision but with the additional power of web/cloud technologies and in a new Cloud avatar.
